Yorkshire Terriers New Zealand 2009 Day 14

Day 14 saw the Terriers get the chance to watch Wellington Lions take the field for their Captain's Run.
This was a great opportunity for the tourists to see a professional New Zealand outfit train up close and personal.

The Lions players then spoke individually to their Terriers counterparts, which was a brilliant experience for the lads. The Terriers were then presented with a signed Wellington Lions jersey before their own training session began in the Wellington sunshine. Tomorrow morning at 8am New Zealand time (9pm GMT) two members of the Terriers touring party will be being interviewed on a local radio station.
