Today started again, again a little later with a hot full English breakfast. A lot of lads appeared having fallen asleep in last night’s clothes. As usual the food didn’t last long and everyone went to prepare for the full day out at Canada’s Wonderland. The bus arrived as early as usual and off we went back up the highway, which we got held up on, on Monday but only this time we got there and the roads were generally clear. On arrival there was another very distinct smell of sun cream as temperatures were rising fast. We made our way down to the main gate got through and before you know it all lads were gone!
At 1 o’clock we all met to be ready for the water park only to discover that it will not be opening today and is only open weekends this time of year. As an alternative each lad had a caricature drawn to keep as memorabilia and then once again they all scarpeared. Whilst walking through the park I manage to get a few pictures but as you will be well aware these lads move fast and trying to catch them on any rides was not going to happen.
At 4.15 we all met there were some very tired and rather red faces from the sun and Paul had even fallen asleep on the wall! Here we all gathered for group photos before clambering back to the yellow school bus with Mike our driver! The journey back was a very quiet one with many lads and dads drifting off to sleep but not with us getting those sneaky pictures in. I get the feeling it’s an early night tonight!
